Biography

Mr. Lynch has spent more than 35 years working in the jewelry business and is the owner of Ouellet and Lynch, an independent jewelry appraisal firm in Phoenix, AZ. Ouellet & Lynch is the appraiser for fine jewelry stores in the western United States, appraising and consulting for law firms, banks and private individuals.

Craig has served for more than 10 years on the Board of Directors of the international Accredited Gemologists Association. Mr. Lynch is the immediate past president of the Arizona Jewelers Association which represents more than 250 jewelry businesses in Arizona. He is the gemological consultant for "Somewhere in the Rainbow" a world class gemstone and modern jewelry collection focused on gemstone and jewelry education.

Mr. Lynch has appeared on numerous television shows as a jewelry expert, assisting local and national television programs in undercover expose's of scams, jewelry and gem misrepresentation. He appeared ABC's Good Morning America, (November 2009) regarding the "Lead Glass/Ruby" expose. Craig is the author many published articles and is author of "Is That Really a Ruby?" - a book for the jewelry trade educating jewelers on how to identify lead glass filled ruby/ composite ruby. In 2002 Mr. Lynch appraised all of the jewelry recovered from the RMS Titanic.
